Matthew Link

Matt Link Villa Rica, Georgia Mr. Matthew "Matt" Richard Link, age 41, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2009 at his residence. He was born December 25, 1968 in Battle Creek, Michigan, the son of the late Mr. Clarence Link and Mrs. Mary Alice Link. Mr. Link married Ginger Nash on December 23, 1989 in Battle Creek, Michigan. He was a member of Temple First Baptist Church and worked as a manager at John Deere Landscapes in Douglasville. Mr. Link loved sports and enjoyed coaching baseball, softball, and basketball and playing golf. He was a loving husband and father. In addition to his father, Mr. Link was preceded in death by his brother, Steve Link. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Mrs. Ginger Nash Link of Villa Rica; his daughter, Hayleigh Link of Villa Rica; his son, Jourdan Link of Villa Rica; his mother, Mary Alice Link of Mansfield, Texas; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Jeff Link of Mansfield, Texas, Don Link of Ft. Worth, Texas, John and Terry Link of Plano, Texas, Joe Link of Mansfield, Texas, and Dave and Kathy Link of Arlington, Texas; his parents-in-law, Lynda and Kermit Lawrence of Villa Rica; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Revs. Larry Boswell and Mark Haney, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow at West Georgia Memorial Park in Carrollton. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home of Villa Rica Monday, December 28, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday, December 29, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m..
