Bonnie Walker Obituary

Bonnie J. Walker Battle Creek Bonnie Jean Walker, 78, of Battle Creek, died January 18, 2010 at Heartland Healthcare. She was born October 3, 1931, the daughter of Harold and Marguerite (Camp) Heckman in Battle Creek. Bonnie is survived by her husband, Harold Walker of Battle Creek; son, Gary (Paulette) Walker of Battle Creek; daughter, Sherry Walker of North Carolina; stepsons, Allan (Darlene) Walker and James (Julie) Walker, all of Battle Creek, nine grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Randy Walker; granddaughter, Kimberly Walker; grandson, Billy Clayton and brothers, Richard, Harold, Bob and Ken Heckman. Bonnie worked in the packaging department at Kellogg's for 12 years. She enjoyed dancing. The family will receive friends from 2 until 4:00 p.m. and 6 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 21, 2010 at Shaw Funeral Home. Services, 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 22, 2010 at the funeral home with Pastor Jim Sparks, North Avenue Church of God, officiating. Interment, Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta. Memorial donations may go to the Salvation Army. The family is being served by Shaw Funeral Home. www.shawfuneralhome.com
