To My Family, Pat, Kim, Ann, and everybody. I love you all! I miss Kelly so much. It's hard to know what to say, and yall probably tired of folks asking " are you ok" so here are some comfort scriptures that helped me the last couple of weeks.
Matthew 5:4 (King James Version) blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

Isaiah 61:3...
To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.”

To My Cousins:

The last thing Jit said to me the week before she passed in 1990 was that she wanted to see Kim and Kelli.

I am just taking comfort in seeing Kelli sitting on Jit's lap, neither of them speaking, just taking comfort in each other, Uncle James standing behind them taking a sip of kool-aid, Jackie standing beside him. Granny and Grampa, Aunt Doris, Aunt Lizellen, Uncle Leroy, Alma, Sis. Young, Isabelle, Shelby, my dad, and so many others hovering nearby, welcoming Kelli.

I praise your strength, courage and obvious love and care as you prepared and carried out an incredibly beautiful homegoing service for Kelli. I will always remember how beautiful she looked.

We are all here for just a BRIEF moment. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, we will all be together again on the other side. In the meantime, we have to take it by the day, staying busy doing good work, and loving and comforting each other.

My heart is full and heavy for Kelli's family and friends. Life is never promised to us from day to day and that's why we must remember to "LIVE" it! Or in my brothers words:"Be a life rider"... The twins were the example of "Life Riders" for the class of 1987. I had the pleasure of knowing Kelli for many of my school years and we sure had plenty of good times. She is surely someone who will be remembered for all of my lifetime...What a girlfriend she was to many.
Kelli, may the Holly Spirit bring you comfort and peace as you greet our Lord.

To the McGilbray & Richardson Family: May God give you the strength in this time of need. Words cannot explain the way I feel right now. Kelli was always smiling and in good spirits. Alot of times you could hear her laughing before you could see her. I will miss seeing her and hearing her laugh when ever we have any Class of 1987 gatherings from this day forward. I love you Kelli . . . Rest In Peace.
