Dale Mead Obituary

Dale Myron Mead Battle Creek Dale Myron Mead, 70, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2010 at his home. He was born on May 10, 1939, in Nashville, MI, the son of Myron and Ruth (Burkhuff) Mead. Dale attended Hastings High School and enjoyed working on the family farm in Barry Co. Dale loved animals and was a dedicated Christian for over 60 years. He was a member of the Harvester's of Christ and attended Emmett Street Missionary Church. Dale is survived by his mother Ruth Johnson of Battle Creek and his brothers Keith (Nancy) Mead of Delton and Richard (Ramona) Mead of Lake Forest, MN. He also leaves his niece Deborah, nephew Jeffrey and his great niece Lauren. He was preceded in death by his father and brother Robert Mead. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at Royal Funeral Home.

My deepest sympathy to Dale's mom, brothers, niece and nephew. When I was younger I always remember him being a kind and gentle person when he was with our dad, Myron.
