Marion Everhart Obituary

Marion O'Hara Everhart Battle Creek Marion O'Hara Everhart, 95, passed away Monday, February 1, 2010 in the loving care of Trudy's Home. She was born June 16, 1914 in Battle Creek, Michigan the daughter of Louis Henry and Florence Inez (LaLonde) Hirleman. Married to Raynor D. Everhart for 60 years, he preceded her in death in 1996. She was also preceded by three brothers: George, Louis and Charles; two sisters: Alta and Marge; a granddaughter: Beth and a great-granddaughter: Samantha. Surviving are six children: Jerry Everhart, T.R. Everhart, Jeffery (Tonya) Everhart, Mark Everhart, Sue Ann (James) Hayes and Dolly (Allan) Shepard; 14 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Marion was a devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed designing silk floral arrangements, formal ballroom dancing, playing bridge, St. Philips Church Circle and was active in the Hospital Auxiliary for many years. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. Memorial contributions in Marion's memory may be made to a charity of ones choice. Arrangements by the Richard A. Henry Funeral Home.

To the entire Everhart family,
Please accept my belated and deepest sympathies for the loss of your beloved Marion. I can't think of anything more emotional draining than the losses of ones mother. Take comfort in knowing she was happy in life being surrounded by her loving children and grandchildren and that she in now surrounded by the love of God.
