Hazel Warp Obituary
A spokeswoman at Evergreen Healthcare in Livingston confirmed Friday that Warp died Tuesday at Livingston Memorial Hospital. A cause of death wasn't released.
Warp, who rode and trained horses, was a stand-in for Leigh in all the horseback-riding scenes in the 1939 movie. She also took a fall for Leigh, tumbling down the stairs of Tara in the famous scene near the end of the film when Scarlett O'Hara reaches out to slap Rhett Butler, loses her balance and falls.
"I never will forget it," Warp said of her Hollywood work in a 2005 interview with the Bozeman Daily Chronicle. "I liked it, everything about it. I just liked my work."
Warp also appeared in "Wuthering Heights," ''Ben-Hur" and "National Velvet," among other films.

To The Family
My heart goes out to you. It's so sad to loose a loved one, it brings heartache and pain that seems to never stop. It's comforting to know that Almighty God knows and feels your pain. That is why he has given us his words to comfort us. Psalm 34:18 assures us,"He is near to those that are broken at heart, and those who are crushed in spirit he saves." He is the "God of all comfort" (2 Corinthians 1:3) Soon our hearts will be free of pain, because Jesus promise at John 5:28,29 that there will be a "resurrection". This gives us hope of being reunited with our love ones, right here on earth. Until that time God tells us at Psalm 55:22 "Throw your burden upon him and he WILL sustain YOU." May your memories of Hazel along with prayer help you through the days ahead.

Wasn't she just cute as a bug! What a delightful-sounding woman she was! She lived to a wonderful age and enjoyed her work. Couldn't ask for much more than that!
