MONUMENT BEACH — Judith A. (Crosby) Roche Kipp, 69, of Monument Beach, formerly of Walpole, died at home on July 8, 2008, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

She was the beloved wife of William E. Kipp for 32 years.

She was born in Boston to the late Albert and Dorothy Crosby and graduated from Westwood High School.

Judith was full of life, joy and fun to be around. She had an infectious personality and was an inspiration to all. She was also a great listener and a woman of many words and stories.

Teaching art classes, painting, cooking, sewing and interior decorating were some of her favorite pastimes, and her greatest joy came from being around her family. Judith and her husband were soul mates.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her children, Ken Kipp and Beth of Wellfleet, Steve Kipp and Joan of North Attleboro, David Roche and Kathie of Norfolk, Steve Roche and Debbie of Walpole, James and Loretta Roche of North Attleboro, Darren Kipp and Mary Ann of Plainville, David Kipp and Denise of Bellingham, Michael Roche and Linda of Franklin, and Eva Lou Roschlein and Eric of Plainville; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Jackie Rasch; and four nieces.

Visiting hours will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 9, in the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 74 Algonquin Ave., at Route 151, Mashpee. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, July 10, at 11 a.m. A visiting hour will be held from 10 to 11 prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cape Cod Healthcare Foundation for VNA, P.O. Box 370, Hyannis, MA 02601, or to any cancer charity of one's choice.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort. Judy and I were classmates at Westwood High School Class of 1956 and enjoyed visits at her home then. We had time to rekindle our friendship at our 50th Reunion. She will be missed but never forgotten. She was a great cheerleader!

Judy, you put up a long hard fight. Your courage was unbelievable,you are at peace and rest now. I will never forget all the wise words of wisdom you gave me in my hard times.
