Janice Pattberg Obituary
She was the wife of the late Francis R. Pattberg, who died March 18, 1999.
Born in Essex, N.J., to the late Julius L. and Agnes M. (Luz), Mrs. Pattberg attended Douglass College, now known as Rutgers University, and graduated in 1934 with a degree in library sciences.
Mrs. Pattberg worked for many years in New York City as secretary to the president of Norda Essential Oil Co.
A longtime resident of Rutherford, N.J., Mrs. Pattberg moved to Cape Cod after the death of her husband, and where she had been a visitor for many years.
Mrs. Pattberg is survived by two nieces, Sara Beam and Betty Michel; four nephews, Robert Luz, Jeffrey, Jonathan and David Hahn; and many friends. She was predeceased by a brother, Robert W. Hahn; and a nephew, Robert Hahn.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 14, in the First Congregational Church, 329 Main St., Yarmouthport. Interment will be private.
