It is sad that you never know what you’ve had until it is taken from you. You take life for granted believing that tomorrow will come. When it doesn’t you are left with questions no one can answer, feelings no one can understand, regrets you must yet reconcile, and eventually you get to the memories. You were taken from me far too soon. No farewell spoken, no apology offered, no I-love-you pledged. My heart aches as not a day passes that I have not thought of you… and I haven’t yet gotten to the memories… but I know they’re there.

You were my guardian; you are now my Guardian Angel.

I love you and miss you dearly. -- April

Such sadness to lose you at such a young age. Memories have flooded me for days, all of them bringing such a warm heartfelt feelings. So much loss in our family over the last few years, my only comfort is for you to now be at peace with Mom and all the loved ones we have lost over the years.
I will always remember you as such a great mom, loving and caring daughter and sister. Mom so adored you and was always so proud of you. I will always remember you for your honesty and bold way of looking at life. You always made us laugh, good times and bad.
To Shawn and April, never is it a good time to lose your mother, but you are both too young. I will always be there for you and hope that we together can smile through the loss and remember only the beauty and joy of having her in our lives.

Mom... you have always been my rock and the constant in my life. You taught me to fight through the tough times and enjoy the good times. You showed me that if you want it bad enough "no" was never a viable answer. I am who I am because you loved me and suppoted me through it all. This is by far the toughest fight of my life that is going to be even tougher to overcome. I love you with all my heart and miss you more than I will ever be able to tell you.

Thank you to all who have helped support us through this difficult time. Your thoughts and prayers mean more than you can ever imagine. My mom IS loved by many and will be forever missed.

Our hearts go out in sympathy to the family and friends of Patty, whom mourn her. May you too find consolation in knowing that she is at peace. Death is not to be feared, Our Heavenly Father, who gives us life with its sunshine and shadows, also gives us the peaceful sleep, we call death. It is our Fathers greatest mercy, a peaceful release from the struggles of life.
