To the family of Mrs. Cahill, I just wanted to express my sympathy. Mrs Cahill was my first grade teacher at the Fairmount school in Hyde Park, Ma some 46 years ago and I still remember her. She was a great teacher and lovely woman. She also taught my brother who was a year ahead of me in school. Mrs Cahill gave many a student a great start in school.
Sincerely
Mary Driscoll-Grace.

As a student teacher in 1972, Mrs. Cahill served as my mentor. Of all teachers that I have come to know and work with, she has always remained the most influential. Her warmth and caring was so genuine. She was beloved by her students and respected by peers. Her first graders only have the fondest of memories; they were fortunate to have been taught by this wonderful lady. Her enthusiasm and example continue to help make me the teacher I am today. Mrs. Cahill, I will always be grateful to you, and rest knowing that your presence will remain in my heart.
