Adam Saylor Obituary
Born in Pottstown, he was a son of the late William G. Saylor and the late Maggie B. (Renninger) Saylor. He was a sales engineer for the former Doehlar-Jarvis Company, Stowe, Pa., for 50 years, retiring in 1982.
A member of West Yarmouth Congregation Church, he was a member of Rajah Shrine, Reading, Pa., and Stitcher Lodge No. 254 F&AM, Pottstown. He was an avid golfer and loving father and grandfather.
He is survived by a daughter, Linda S., wife of Paul Bechtolt of Shillington, Pa.; and a granddaughter, Hannah Mei Bechtolt. He was predeceased by a brother, Elmer E. Saylor.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 13, at Pottstown Cemetery, East North Hanover Street, Pottstown. Burial will be in Pottstown Cemetery-East. There will be no viewing.
Contributions may be made in his memory to Boston Shriners Hospital, 51 Blossom St., Boston, MA 02114.
Arrangements are by the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, 359 King St., in Pottstown, PA 19464.
