Barbara Carey Obituary
Mrs. Carey was predeceased by her husband, Irving (Biddo) Carey.
Born and raised in her beloved Marblehead, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Hooper and Annie Mclain Hooper.
An avid piano player, she taught students at her home for several years. She was playing for the patients at Bourne Manor shortly before her death.
She is survived by a daughter, Cynthia Carey Heller, of Mashpee and her husband, Carl Heller, of Bourne Manor; and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Emma Vincent, Doris LeBlanc and Lewis Hooper.
Interment will be private at Waterside Cemetery in Marblehead.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be donated to the Northeast Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 4506, Salem, MA 01970.
