LAWRENCE, Kan. — Priscilla Tite Landgraf, 84, died Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2008, in Lawrence.

A Mayflower descendant, she was born on Feb. 18, 1924, in Gary, Ind., the daughter of Elzie Edward and Louise Nickerson Tite, and grew up in Pittsburgh, Pa. She attended Oberlin College in Ohio and graduated with a business administration degree from Simmons College in Boston.

She married Stanley Keith Landgraf in 1947, and moved with him to St. Louis, Mo., where she was a homemaker and volunteer. They retired to Harwich Port.

Priscilla will be remembered for her warmth, religious faith, exquisite embroidery, gourmet meals served to family and friends, interest in genealogy, and passion for England and Cape Cod.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. She is survived by two daughters, Marsha Smith and husband Kent of St. Paul, Minn., and Jennifer Mason of Dallas, Texas; three sons, Bruce of San Clemente, Calif., Keith and wife Ingrid of Lawrence, and Eric and wife Cathy of Kirkwood, Mo.; a sister, Mary Louise Hawkins of Chapel Hill, N.C.; eight grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and many friends.

Her memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 18, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 310 Route 137, Harwich.

The family suggests memorials to the Harwich Historical Society, 80 Parallel St., Harwich, MA 02645.
