BOURNE — Mary (Bulcao) Motta, 86, formerly of Woodward Avenue, Seekonk, died Saturday evening, Aug. 23, 2008, at the Bourne Manor Extended Care Facility.

She was the wife of the late Joseph Motta.

Born in Providence, R.I., on May 31, 1922, she was the daughter of the late John and Corinne (Piques) Bulcao.

She is survived by her sons, Barry Motta and his wife Lois, and Glenn Motta and his wife Elizabeth, all of Wareham; four grandchildren, Melanie, Karen, Megan and Amy; and three great-grandchildren, Hailey, Jillian and Victoria. She was the sister of John Bulcao of San Diego, Calif., and sister of the late Manuel and Florie Bulcao.

Her funeral will begin Thursday, at 9 a.m., from the Rebello Funeral Home, 901 Broadway, East Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian burial, at 10 a.m., at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Traverse Street, Providence. Burial will follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m.

Memorial donations are respectfully requested to the Alzheimer's Services of Cape Cod and the Islands, 712 Main St., Hyannis, MA 02601.
