YARMOUTH — Longtime Cape resident Tony Rauseo passed away peacefully Monday, Sept. 1, 2008, with his loving family by his side.

Tony became an honorary member of the Cape Cod Hospital Auxiliary when he dedicated time and talent to two fundraising productions, "Got to Have Heart," in 2005, and "Fiddler on the Roof," in 2007.

His lifetime career was in hotel management. He also coached intercity football, was on the Medford School Committee, and was a Boy Scout leader. He was also an Army soldier, 56th battallion, 1942-1944.

Funeral Mass will be held Friday, Sept. 5, at noon, at St. Pius X Church, Station Avenue, South Yarmouth.

Gifts in his memory may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Cape Cod, 765 Attucks Lane, Hyannis, MA 02601.
