BUZZARDS BAY —

Clarence "Hap" Young, of Buzzards Bay, died on Friday, Sept. 5, 2008, at the Tremont Nursing Home in Wareham, at the age of 86.

He was the loving husband of Ethel (Crowell) Young for 65 years.

Born in Milton, on Dec. 10, 1921, he was the son of the late Clarence and Maude Young. An Army veteran of World War II, he served in the 10th Armored Division in France and Germany. He was a lifetime member of the Wareham Elks and the Aptucxet VFW.

For more than 38 years, he was the meat manager for the A&P.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his son, Steven Young and Debbie Mazurowski of Harwich; two grandsons, Scott and his wife Medilea, and Nicholas; his great-granddaughter, Madison; and nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Roger Young.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 8, 2008, at the Oakland Grove Cemetery, on Shore Road, in Bourne.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Hospice of Massachusetts, 577 Main St., Wareham, MA 02571.

I was sad to hear of Uncle Clarence's passing. Wish we were able to come out and attend the services. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time.

Uncle Clarence was always there for us growing up.He was a devoted Son,Loving brother,great uncle always there when you wanted him.
he was agreat comfort to us when
when my MOM & DAD Passed.
May you always hold on to your memories of him and treasure them God knows he was a devoted husband and wonderfull Dad,GRandDAD, and great GrandDAD TOO!!!!!!!!
