FALMOUTH — Mary E. (Dias) Romiza, 66, of Falmouth, passed away at JML Care Center, on the morning of Sept. 4, 2008, of illness due to cancer.

Mrs. Romiza was a school bus driver for the Falmouth school district for more than 30 years. In the off-season, she owned and operated Romiza's farm stand with her husband Michael.

Mrs. Romiza loved all kinds of crafts and loved to bake. She also loved to go on vacations with her cousins and girlfriends, one of her favorite places being Lancaster, Pa. She was fascinated by the Amish way of life.

Mary is survived by her husband, Michael of Falmouth; sons, William of Braintree, Mark of Port Charlotte, Fla., and James of Falmouth; and a brother, Manuel Dias of Falmouth.

Mary was predeceased by her parents, John and Justine Dias of Teaticket, and a son John of Port Angeles.

Visiting hours will be on Wednesday, Sept. 10, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 475 Main St., Falmouth.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, at 10 a.m., in St. Patrick's Church, 511 Main St., Falmouth. Burial immediately following at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Gifford St., Falmouth.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her name to Women and Infants Hospital of R.I., Oncology Department, 101 Dudley St., Providence, R.I. 02905.
