Mary Pitcher Obituary
Born in Newfoundland, on Nov. 3, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Beatrice Attwood and the beloved wife of the late Ralph M. Pitcher; dear mother of Edmund R. and his wife, Sue, of Lexington, Barbara E. Pitcher Patt of Calgary, Alberta, David C. and his wife, Paula, of Beverly, and Donald J. and his wife, Nancy, of Cummaquid; devoted sister of Emma Barker of Oshawa, Ontario, and Steven Attwood of Thornhill, Ontario. Mary is also survived by 10 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Thursday, Sept. 25, from 4 to 8 p.m., in the Doane, Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 160 W. Main St., Hyannis, MA 02601.
A funeral service will be held Friday, Sept. 26, at 11 a.m., in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 2736 Falmouth Road, Osterville, MA 02655.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023, or to The Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 2736 Falmouth Road, Osterville, MA 02655.
