Published by Legacy Remembers on Oct. 5, 2008.
CENTERVILLE — Marion Catherine (Seaman) Weber passed away peacefully on Oct. 3, 2008, surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Marion was born to Hugh and Eva Seaman on Jan. 1, 1936, in Greenwich, Conn. She graduated from Greenwich High School in 1954. In 1956, she married Arne Weber and moved to Monroe, Conn. She also lived in Milford, Conn. She moved to Cape Cod in 2007 to live with her son and his family.

Marion's greatest joy was her children, grandchildren and great-granddaughter. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends, going to jai alai, the casinos, and, in her earlier years, ice skating. She had a great sense of humor and lived life to the fullest. Marion will be greatly missed by her family.

She is survived by her brother, Hugh Seaman, Jr., of Hartford, Conn.; two sons, Karl Weber and his wife, Teri, of Huntington, Conn., Eric Weber and his wife, Margeaux, of Centerville, Mass.; a daughter, Lynn Guion and her partner Jimmy Desane of Hamden Conn.; four grandchildren, Derik, Justin, Christopher and Greta; and a great-granddaughter, Rebecca. She also leaves many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, Oct. 6, from 9 to 10:30 a.m., at the Fred D. Knapp & Sons Funeral Home, 267 Greenwich Ave., Greenwich, Conn., with Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church in Riverside, Conn. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Greenwich.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marion's memory to the Davenport-Mugar Cancer Center, c/o Cape Cod Healthcare Foundation, P.O. Box 370, Hyannis, MA 02601.
