Lucy Klund Obituary
She was the beloved wife of Raymond W. Klund for 72 years. She and her husband moved to Cape Cod in 1966 from Stoughton.
Born in Everett and educated in Stoughton, Lucy was the loving mother of Edward Klund and his wife Joan of Westminster, Calif., Laurel Snowden of South Yarmouth, Raymond C. Klund and his wife Ellen of North Easton, and Nancy Beless and her husband Clay of Yarmouthport. Her loving grandchildren are Bill Snowden and Kaycee Snowden of South Yarmouth, Michael Klund of North Easton, Jennifer and husband Sam Schofield of Middleboro, Becky and husband Greg Zucchero of Long Beach, Calif., and Scott Beless of West Yarmouth.
Lucy was a loving, proud great-grandmother to Alex and Sydney Beless and Joseph Zucchero. She leaves many nieces and nephews.
Lucy loved her family, her many friends and her home. She was an active member of South Yarmouth Methodist Church and was a longtime volunteer for the Yarmouth Senior Center in its early years.
Her greatest enjoyment was time spent with her husband Ray and her extended family.
A memorial service will be held Monday, Dec. 1, at 10 a.m., at the South Yarmouth Methodist Church.
Gifts in her memory may be made to the South Yarmouth Methodist Church, 322 Old Main St., South Yarmouth, MA 02664.
