YARMOUTHPORT —

Betty Ann Bickford, 57, passed away on Oct. 9, 2007, at the home of her sister Janet after a brief illness.

She was a lifelong Cape Cod resident, and avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan.

She was the daughter of Barbara Pells of Hyannis, and mother of Sarah and Martin Bickford of West Yarmouth. She was also survived by sisters Shirley Ann Highrock of Chatham, Joyce Hall of Dorchester, Dorothy Pells of Hyannis, Linda Pells of Hyannis, Janet McClain of Yarmouthport and Lydia Wilson of North Las Vegas, Nev.; brothers Joseph Pells of Cotuit, James Pells of Hyannis and Stanley Pells of Mashpee; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13, at the Mashpee Baptist Church, Great Neck Road, Mashpee. Burial will follow at the Old Indian Cemetery, Mashpee.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Cape Cod, 765 Attucks Lane, Hyannis, MA 02601.

My deepest sympathy to you all at this time. Your sister was a wonderful person,friend and room mate. We had many laughs through out the years. She will be missed by many that loved her.

my condolences go out to the family... I know Betty was a good person and now she is peacefully with God.. I thank God she is no longer suffering...
