DENNISPORT — Elizabeth (Myers) DuBois, 81, of Dennisport, died Monday, Oct. 15, 2007, at Harbor Point Assisted Living in Centerville.

She was the wife of the late Arthur E. DuBois, who died in 2002. They had been married for 57 years.

Born in Saugus, Mrs. DuBois was raised and educated in Revere. She was a 1943 graduate of Revere High School. After her marriage, she moved to Enfield, Conn., and Dennisport, where she raised her family.

Mrs. DuBois was a woman of faith, who was extraordinary and hardworking, both in the workplace and at home. She retired at the age of 75.

Among her many talents were knitting, crocheting, sewing and gardening. She enjoyed spending time with her family and at the beach. She also enjoyed the company of her dogs, Keisha and Max.

Mrs. DuBois is survived by her children, Marie, Lorraine, John, Arthur, Jared and Robert DuBois, Margaret Kao, Mary Goldstein, and Elizabeth Keene; her siblings, William and Anastasia Myers; 22 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Paul DuBois.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, in the Holy Trinity Church, Main Street, West Harwich. Interment will follow in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, at 1:30 p.m.

Visitation will precede the Mass beginning at 9 a.m. in the Hallett Funeral Home, 273 Station Ave., South Yarmouth.

Memorial donations may be made to the VNA Hospice, 434 Route 134, Building G, South Dennis, MA 02660.

My thoughts and prayers are with Betty's family at this time. I worked with Betty at F.W. Woolworths when it was at the Cape Cod Mall. I remember her as a hard working woman who was very caring and kind, we had a good time working together. Peace be with you all....
