FALMOUTH — George A. St. Pierre, of Falmouth, formerly of Medfield, died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2007, at Harborside Heathcare.

He was the beloved husband of Marie E. (Volk) St. Pierre of 55 years.

A World War II Marine Corps veteran, George enjoyed traveling and camping through Canada and the United States.

After retiring from the postal service in 1987, he moved to Falmouth and drove a special needs bus for many years.

Besides his wife Marie, he is survived by his daughter, Jean-Marie Kingsbury of Medfield, and a son, Mark L. St. Pierre of Waquoit. He is also survived by five grandchildren, and his sisters, Frances Szylkonis of Medfield, Mary St. Pierre of Falmouth, and Eileen St. Pierre of Medfield.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at noon on Thursday, Oct. 18, in St. Patrick's Church, 511 Main St., Falmouth. The visitation will be from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., prior to the Mass, at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 475 Main St., Falmouth Center.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cape Cod Healthcare Foundation for the VNA, P.O. Box 370, Hyannis, MA 02601.
