Dear Peggy and Bernie: I am thinking of you here in the Netherlands. John was such a loving and fun person. He managed to add so much joy to the social gatherings at Grammie's. Alex and George remember his great sense of humor and quick wit. There is peace knowing that he lived such a full life with a wonderful, loving family and friends. We will miss him. Hope to see you soon. Lots of love, Lisa Parker

Dear Peggy, Bernie, Debbie, and Nick,
Our hearts go out to you at this sad time and in the days ahead. With all that John had endured, it will be his great wit and sense of humor that I will remember most. I can still see John clearly, as if it were yesterday, riding his bike through the Unity Ave/Berwick St neighborhoods, as everyone watched in amazement and cringing at the same time. I never saw him crash into anything, although he had a couple of near misses. He really knew how to tell a good joke and was able to get away with "not" being politically correct. John will be sorely missed. May he be at peace. With deepest sympathy and love from Peggy and Jack
