SOUTH DENNIS —

Audrey D. (Brown) Gibbons, 65, died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2007, at Whitehall Estates in Hyannis.

Born in Quincy, Mrs. Gibbons was raised and educated in Norwood. She was a 1960 graduate of Norwood High School and a 1962 graduate of the Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene in Boston.

As a dental hygienist, Mrs. Gibbons worked at a dental office in Boston for many years before moving to South Dennis. For nearly 20 years, she worked as a hygienist for Dr. Robert Creedon in Dennis. She was extremely devoted to her patients and developed a loyal following over the years. She retired in 2006.

Mrs. Gibbons spent her free time in her gardens. She was an avid reader and always enjoyed a good book. She enjoyed going to yard sales and spending time with her family and grandchildren. Mrs. Gibbons was also an animal lover, especially to her two cats, Sullivan and Duncan.

Mrs. Gibbons is survived by two sons, Gordon and his wife, Melissa, of South Yarmouth, and David and his wife, Becky, of Berkley; and two grandchildren, Matthew and Kaylin, both of Berkley.

Visiting hours will be held from 3 to 6 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 7, in the Hallett Funeral Home, 273 Station Ave., South Yarmouth. A service of remembrance will begin at 5:30 p.m. Interment will be private.

Memorial donations may be made to the Visiting Nurse Association, 434 Route 134, Suite G-1, South Dennis, MA 02660.
