Mary Grace Obituary
A retired nurse of St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Brighton, she was a member of the Massachusetts Nurses Association.
She was the beloved wife of J. Edwin Grace; devoted mother of Sheila M. Grace of Manchester, N.H., Kathleen M. Barrett and her husband Robert of Manomet, and Timothy F. Grace and his wife Robin of Marstons Mills, and the late Christopher J. Grace; and sister of Paul F. Degnan and his wife Gina, of Milton. She was also survived by eight grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Erin Carter-Grace of Arlington, Va.; a sister-in-law, Evelyn M. Grace of Cambridge; and many nieces and nephews.
A visiting hour will be held in the Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Road (Route 3A), Manomet, on Friday, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass in St. Bonaventure Church, 809 State Road (Route 3A), Manomet, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment is in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, on Friday at 12:45 p.m.
Please omit flowers. Memorials in her name to the St. Francis House, 39 Boylston Street, Boston, MA 02116, would be appreciated.

Mr. Grace, Sheila, Kathy, Tim and all the Degnans, Graces, Grandchildren and many, many Friends:
I'll miss Mrs. Grace tremendously. The memories of hanging out with Chris at Our Lady of Mercy's variety shows, with a close but loving motherly oversight and guidance provided by Mrs. Grace; the wonderful treats at the Grace household; her smile and always upbeat outlook; and the many, too many, fond memories. Good 'ole buddy and close friend Chris ("Gracie!") now has his mother close by. My condolences to you all on the loss of a wonderful Wife, Mother, Aunt, Grandmother and Friend.

Mr. Grace, Sheila, Kathy and Timmy,
I was so sorry to read of Mrs. Grace's passing. Many Cushing Square and Our Lady of Mercy memories of one of the nicest people in the world. Now there are 2 special guardian angels watching over all of you.

To Mary's Family,
I worked with Mary for many years in Watertown...both she and I had so much fun laughing and having fun despite our Nursing responsiblitities...Mary was always beaming with a smile or a nice word for someone...
May she rest in peace ...

My sincere sympathy to all the Grace family at this time. I worked with Mary for several years at St. Francis House in Boston. She was very kind and loving to all she met. She is with the angels now. May she rest in peace!
