ST. PAUL, Minn. — Helen G. Whiting, 97, died on Nov. 25, 2007.

She was predeceased by her husband, Henry. She is survived by son, Paul and his wife, Betty, of Montana; daughters, Ann Pratt and her husband, Neal, of Sandwich and Mary Peterson and her husband, Mark, of Minnesota; seven grandchildren and their spouses; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Helen enjoyed a long and rich life reflecting her passion for her family, her church, and her world. A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 15, at First Lutheran Church, West Barnstable, followed by burial at Crocker Cemetery. Friends are invited to gather at the church prior to the service at 10 a.m. to greet the family.

Memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church, West Barnstable.

Dear Mary, Paul, Ann, and Family,
I was so very sorry to hear the news about Aunt Helen. I regret not going to see her in the last few years. The last time I saw her was at Christ Lutheran Church's 60th anniversary in October 1995. I recall her wit at that time. My prayers are with all of you.
