Frances Kuharik Obituary
Frances H. Lindsey Kuharik, 92, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Diane Simski, of Sagamore Beach. In addition, she is survived by her grandsons, Daniel Simski and wife, Patricia, and James Simski and wife, Heather; and her granddaughters, Jeanne Doherty and husband, Matthew, of Dedham, and Kimberly Lindsey of Wareham. She also leaves behind five great-granddaughters, Ashley, Hannah, Emily, Elizabeth and Caroline; and daughters-in-law, Lorraine Lindsey and Cheri Lindsey, both of Wareham. She was predeceased by her husbands, Paul L. Lindsey and George Kuharik, and son, Paul T. Lindsey.
Frances was best known for her establishment of Lindsey's Restaurant in Wareham in 1948. She enjoyed dividing her time between her homes in Wareham and Lehigh Acres, Fla., for many years.
Frances' life will be celebrated at a service at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd., Bourne, from 9 to 11 a.m., on Monday, Dec. 3, followed by funeral at 11:30 a.m. at St. Peter's Church, 165 Main St., Buzzards Bay. Burial will follow in Oakland Grove Cemetery in Bourne.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frances' memory to St. Peter's on the Canal Church, 165 Main St., Buzzards Bay, MA 02532.

To Diane,
Our deepest sympathy go out to you and your family. I will always remember how much help your Mother & Father were to our family when my Grandmother passed away many years ago. I'm sitting here looking at pictures from The Bourne Community Club which you and your Mother helped support for many years and all thinking about all the good times we all had there together.Your Mother was a wonderful woman and will be greatly missed.
