Joseph Dilk Obituary
He leaves his wife of 66 years, June (Gretsch) Dilk. He was the father of Joseph J. Dilk, Janice E. Strobl, and the late Joseph Raymond Dilk, who died in infancy; and brother of Elizabeth Groh. He also leaves four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Mr. Dilk was a World War II veteran, an avid golfer, bridge player and swimmer. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Swampscott for more than 50 years.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 8, at 2 p.m., at Thirwood Place, 237 North Main St., South Yarmouth.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Cape Cod, 765 Attucks Lane, Hyannis, MA 02601, www.hospicecapecod.org.
