She truly enjoyed her profession and cared for her patients like they were her family. She was unselfish, caring and lived life to the fullest.

In the face of adversity, Christine showed nothing but strength, courage and faith. She left a special mark on everyone's heart that she met. Family was most important to her, always putting everyone else ahead of herself, and treating everyone like they were family. Christine loved taking trips to Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun.

Besides her loving husband, Darryl, she is survived by a son, Richard C. Sturtevant of North Falmouth; a daughter, Jennifer J. Sturtevant (Toni) of Beverly; step-sons, E Matthew Anderson and Marc T. Anderson (Kristin) of Wareham; granddaughters, Marisah Gilbert of Falmouth and Amina Christine Sturtevant of North Falmouth; brothers, George Szadis (Linda) of Durham, Maine, James Szadis (Charlene) of Logan, Iowa, Thomas Szadis of Nashua, N.H.; and one sister, Elizabeth Alley (Dan) of New Boston, N.H. She also leaves a brother-in-law, Bruce Anderson (Debbie) of Westbrook, Conn., and a mother-in-law, Evelyn Anderson of Windsor Locks, Conn., and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Friday, Dec. 7, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., in Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 584 West Falmouth Highway (Route 28A), West Falmouth. A funeral home service will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, Dec. 8.

Auntie ... You taught me that family and friends are the most important thing in life and for that I am grateful.
Thank you for the ornament you gave us at the family reunion ... it will always have a place of honor on my tree, as will you. Rest in peace and know that you will truly be missed! Love, Lee Ann and family
