'Tissa'
Miss Ivey, 36, of Charlotte, died February 28, 2009. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. with visitation beginning at 1 p.m. on Thursday at Marvin A.M.E. Zion Church in Waxhaw. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Long & Son Mortuary Service is assisting the Ivey Family.

Ivey Family,
The years have gone by & tears have been & will continue to be shed. But THANKS BE TO GOD that Tissa left a legacy in her two beautiful daughters. May you always be comforted in knowing your mother was a loving & kind woman to many people. She will never be forgotten by the Vinson family. We love you & pray for your strength always!

To Ms. Johnnie Mae, Robin, Charles, Tammy and Tissa's children....our hearts ache for you. We only learned of your loss the other day and we are lifting you all up in prayer. I know times like this are hard to comprehend or understand why but God is a merciful God and he will give you all just what you need to get through it.

To the Ivey Family,
I had the pleasure of meeting Tissa as a child on Crane Road. Tissa was always full of laughter and always wore a bright smile. As adults we lost contact, but whenever we would run into one another, that bright smile was always there. I thank God for the opportunity to cross paths with such a wonderful person. Your family will be in my prayers. Remember-God is STILL in the blessing business!!!!
