Ben,

I will always remember you as the person who loved music, listened to the little bands BEFORE they were cool, and had a lot to say about the big things in life and nothing to say about the small things of no consequence. I will always have great memories of hanging around the Red Star Cafe until closing time, just talking about whatever comes to mind. I'll be seeing you at the Phoenix my friend,

BEN DOG!! You were one my best friends in the whole world.. I miss everything about you.. playing whole records on the phone for me.. talking about some weird cartoon we created... driving through the metro parks..eating reeces cups and watching auqua teen..going down to the pheonix and gettinga super dude or two and rapping about music, life, politics, society, and the world.. I remember when we tried to see high on fire twice but never could find where they were playing and driving all the way back and forth to Columbus.. only to laugh about it the whole time..Ben I love you so much.. and feel you everywhere around all of our friends.. you are a part of all of us now forever locked in our hearts memories and souls.. you were my friend ben and you always will be.. I love you.. I will see you soon my brother. no words can express this enough.. Doug and jo... bless you and know that ben was loved by so many.. we all love you.. stay strong and know though brief Ben was one of the most special humans in the universe and that he touched so many and that he will never be forgotten.

To the Anderson Family:

As a Parent that has had to lay a precious child to rest, my heart goes out to you. My sons Derrek and Ross both had the good fortune of knowing Ben as a close friend, and I knew Ben as "Our Friend Gentle Ben", "God heals all in Heaven", and we keep the good memories alive and in our hearts.

Every time I saw you, you were all smiles. Things here wont be the same with out your shinning face coming through the doors. What will I have to look forward to??? I didnt know you too well but I knew you well enough to make all the difference. Take care Ben, thanks for the laughs.

Ben,

"Rad it out," Mozarella sticks, and garage rock....those are some of the best memories i have in my life. like many others, i apologize and lament the fact that we didn't see each other much over the past few years. but know that i was always thinking of you and loved you dearly. i've been sitting here listening to pop-punk and thinking of 1995 and you for the past week non-stop. god, i miss you so much and am honored to have met you....you touched so many people and i wish i had seen you more than i had in the past few years.

rest well and be at peace, you will always be with me....and i am thankful for that.

XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO

Oh My Dear Benny, I miss you so much. ..and have for so long. I know that you are in a place much better...but that doesn't make it much better. I am so very sorry that we have'nt hung out much in the past few years...You were such a great friend...as I write this I laugh about some of the times you "straightened" me out. I will miss you forever my Benny.... or until I see you again...and I know I will. I kiss you good night my friend..till then.

Mr.& Mrs.Anderson, my thoughts and prayers are with you. Ben is one of my dearest and oldest friends. His compassion and faith in humanity was unsurpassed. His candor, quick-witted mind, and infectious sense of humor will always be with me. He was there for me through heartbreak, bad hair, awkward teenage years, and good times. When I was 21 years old, all but 2 inches of my hair broke off. Not only was Ben the first one to see it, He was also the one who consoled me. He told me that who I was as a person was way more important than what my hair looked like, He said I was a beautiful person and not to worry about what people may think. Ben was never about the trivial things. He had a way of putting things into perspective. He viewed the world and nature with a deep understanding and appreciation and with a much keener eye than most. I will miss him greatly.

Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help at this time. Sincerely, Dina
