I remember Mr. Gardner as a teacher (Scottsville School) and what a wonderful person he was and long after school when he saw me he still remember me and I always thought a lot of Mr. Gardner. He would always make the boys be polite to the girls and treat them with respect. I will always have those fond memories. May God keep your family close and bless each of you.

To the Gardner Family,

We will always experience suffering during our lives here on our fallen Earth, especially the death of a loved one. With God we cry out to a loving Father who remains with us and comforts us as we hurt.
When we have God in our lives and hearts, we have hope during difficult times. We have hope grounded in the fact of God's mighty power, His limitless mercy, and everlasting love. No matter what happens, God loves us because God is love. And nothing can separate us from Him.
Remember family nothing can separate you from the love of Mr. Kenton Gardner who was a loving husband, father and friend.
May the love of God continue to embrace you as you go through this difficult time.

Simone, Kavansa, Aleta, and Ms. Evelyn...may the Love of God continue to embrace you as you endure this challenging season. Mr. Gardner was a great guy, a pure jokester, but was very serious about his relationship with God..and didn't mind showing it...If there was anyone who praised God in the "coolest manner," it would be Mr. Gardner...he loved good Praise and Worship and Service, but he was careful not to show a lot of emotions...He had to have gotten tired of us rehearsing in your living room all of those days we had our singing group...LOL...or the day we cleaned and cooked those chitterlings for our community yard and bakesale/dinner, which stunk up your house...I even remember being in his club: Fututure Farmers of America at Albemarle High School...and how I was the only brother who seemed to be interested in farming...LOL i think he appreciated my interest...If there was a church service in the community, he was there with his tape recorder....now that's something we'll all miss...How awesome it is to have known such a great person... Now, to the family...who knows how to lean and depend on the Lord... no advice is necessary here...all I can do is give you just pure and genuine encouragement...to a family who certainly Stays in the Word of God, May Heaven continue to smile upon you... Stand strong...and remember that tests and trials come to make us strong...we're here only for a good season...now we must give Mr. Gardner his sendoff...not farewell...I hope he rememberes to Say hello to all of our loved ones who have gone before...I'll see you in the rapture, some sweet day, Mr. Gardner!

August 27, 2009

Kavansa & Gardner Family,

Mr. Gardner was a great man who loved to see you succeed. He was like a second father to me since school and I will always remember his great smile.
