Hardenia Faudree Coleman

Hardenia Faudree Coleman, 78, of Orange, died Tuesday, September 8, 2009, at Dogwood Village of Orange.

A life long resident of Orange County, she was the daughter of the late John Frank Faudree and Maggie Mae Crockett Faudree.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Hill Coleman; a son, Alfred Bruce Coleman; and a granddaughter, Shawn Marie Coleman.

She is survived by her five children, John Coleman of Stanardsville, Linda Desler of Chesapeake, Donna Breeden of Hollywood, Maryland, Carol Nichols of Orange, and Robin Byers of Savannah, Georgia; eight grandchildren, Bill Childs, Joshua Hanna, Kaleb Hanna, Joe Breeden, Tia Gardner, Tim Coleman, Sandy Coleman, and Michelle Boroughs; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Frank and Walter Faudree; and sisters, Phillippa Brown, Jane Honeycutt and Marian Faudree.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 p.m. Friday, September 11, 2009, at Johnson Funeral Home, Locust Grove.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, September 12, 2009, at the funeral home with Chaplin Belva Bryant officiating.

Burial will follow at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, St. Just, Virginia.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of the Rapidan, Box 1715, Culpeper, VA 22701 or American Cancer Society, c/o Trudy Clifton, 113 Tallpines Ave, Locust Grove, VA 22508

So sorry for the loss of your love one. I knew Hardenia for a few years now I work at the doctors office she use to come to and all i can say is she was a great person and I will miss her alot.
