Roger Lee Coleman Sr.

Roger Lee Coleman, Sr., age 81, of Richlands, VA, passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025 at his home.

Roger was born on May 14, 1944 in Seaboard, VA, and was the son of the late Crumbley Coleman and Emma Hagy Coleman. He was the former owner and operator of Coleman's Flower Shop in Richlands. He enjoyed taking care of his dogs, whom he loved dearly. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Cecil Coleman, Edward Coleman, Dennis Coleman, and Wayne Coleman; and sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Coleman, Patsy Coleman, and Juanita Coleman

He is survived by his:

Wife, Darlena Morgan Coleman

Daughter, Angela Lankford and husband, Douglas of Pilot Mtn, NC

Sons:

Roger Coleman, Jr. and wife, Rhonda of Jewell Ridge, VA

Brian Coleman and wife, Lisa of Dobson, NC

Brothers:

Kenneth Coleman and wife, Patsy of Richlands, VA

Lum Coleman of Church Hill, TN

Ronnie Coleman and wife, Kelly of NC

Perry Coleman and wife, Dreama of Richlands, VA

Special Sister in Law, Carol Collins and husband, Terry

Grandchildren:

Shannon Waddell, Amanda Fagg, Richard Coleman, and Breanna Jones

Also surviving are five great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Roger Lee Coleman, Sr. will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Monday, December 1, 2025 at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, VA with Rev. Walker Cooper officiating. Interment will follow at Clinch Valley Memorial Cemetery in Richlands VA. Pallbearers will be family and friends, Curtis Owens, Gavin Coleman, Mark Coleman, and Douglas Lankford. The family will accept family and friends from 12-1 pm at the funeral home.
