Sharon Darlen Miller

Sharon Darlen Miller, 66, of Mineral, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, September 21, 2009.

She was born February 9, 1943, in Dallas, Texas, to the late Harley Simmons and Twyila Moore Simmons. Sharon was an antique dealer and she loved antiques, playing tennis and volleyball, working outside landscaping and in her flower gardens. She especially loved spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends.

Sharon is survived by her husband of 40 years, Johnny Miller; her sons, Daniel Crate and his wife, Virginia, of Memphis, Tennessee, Johnny Crate of Mineral, and Tyrone Miller and his wife, Kimberly, of Mineral; her grandchildren, Alexis Miller, Chase Miller, Kimberlyn Crate and Ryan Crate; and a great-grandson, Gavin Crate.

The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. with a memorial service beginning 2 p.m. Friday, September 25, 2009, at the Woodward Funeral Home Chapel, 200 Fredericksburg Avenue, Louisa, VA 23093. Dr. David Cole will be officiating. Inurnment will be private.
