Lee King Eshbaugh

Lee King Eshbaugh, 66, of Windermere, Florida, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2009, after a courageous battle with melanoma.

Lee was born May 9, 1943, in Unionport, Jefferson County, Ohio, to Leroy Walter Eshbaugh and Ella Virginia Blackburn Eshbaugh.

He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam war. He retired from Unisys Corporation after being employed for 35 years as a computer teacher and as an engineer. He enjoyed genealogy, boating, camping, and helping others.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where he served faithfully in many areas as teacher, high priest group leader, finance clerk, worked in the Family History Center, and most recently as a Coordinator at the Orlando Florida Temple.

He is survived by his wife, Marian Coleman Eshbaugh of Windermere; his mother, Ella Virginia Blackburn Eshbaugh of Ohio; his children, Christine Madden and her husband, Curt, of High Point, North Carolina, Michael and his wife, Renee, Daniel and his wife, Mary, of Harrisonburg, and Sarah Galindo and her husband, Antonio, of High Point North Carolina; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; his step-daughter, Joi and her husband, Jay; and two step-grandsons of Windermere.

He is also survived by a brother, George and is wife, Patty; and sisters, Elsie Tressler, Jeanette Zook and her husband, Lucian, and Rose Allen, all of Ohio.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Eaton and Thomas; and one sister, Alice Rhodes.

A viewing will be at Teague Funeral Home from 7 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, September 29, 2009.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 30, 2009, at Holly Memorial Gardens followed by a reception and memorial service at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on Hydraulic Road.
