LEIBOLD, Theresa (Martin) Named Marie Francoise Therese Martin by her father in honor of the Little Flower of Jesus, passed away November 4, 2008 at the age of 74. Born July 14, 1934 in Dayton, Ohio, Theresa was the daughter of the late Noah and Marie Martin. On August 28, 1954 she married her beloved husband Jerome P. Leibold. After 54 years of marriage the love that began with two teenagers will continue to grow in the family that they raised together. Theresa is the mother of nine children, Jane (J) Fleckenstein of Cincinnati, Ohio, Katherine (Ed) Cook of Casselberry, Florida, Michael (Debbie) Leibold of Mt. Vernon, Ohio, Patricia (Jeff) Pompos of Toledo, Ohio, Jennifer (Peter) Fischer of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Paul (Patti) Leibold of New Vienna, Ohio, Mary Beth Leibold of Adrian, Michigan, John (Paula) Leibold of Erie, Pennsylvania and Jerome (Christine) Leibold II of Marion, Ohio. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren. Greg (Katie) Fleckenstein, Elizabeth Fleckenstein, Patrick Fleckenstein, Matthew (Samantha) Cook, Michelle Cook, Ashley Cook, Abbey Leibold, Nathan Leibold, Zachary Leibold, Nicholas Leibold, Christopher Leibold, Andrea (Steve) Pompos Barta, Heather Pompos, Rebecca (Ryan) Fischer Revock, Daniel Fischer, Christopher Fischer, Aaron Leibold, Molly Leibold, John Leibold, Matthew Leibold, Noah Leibold, Maya Leibold, Michelle Leibold, and Elwyn Leibold. She is the proud great-grandmother of Zachary Fleckenstein, Emily Fleckenstein, Alyssa Fleckenstein, Kyle Fleckenstein, Kelly Fleckenstein, James Cook, and Jessie Cook. Dear sister of Jack Martin, Norman Martin, Bernard Martin, Jerry Martin (twin brother) and the late Al Martin, Connie Martin and Mary Ann Nemethy. Along with her immediate family Theresa had many friends whom will forever hold a special place in her heart, including Deb Stevenson, Mary Ann Poutre and Joe Nemethy. Along with being a devoted wife and proud mother she will be remembered for her wonderful dinner parties. One of her greatest honors and pleasures was her role as the official hostess for the late Archbishop Paul F. Leibold. Theresa was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church in Hillsboro, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday, Nov. 7th at St. Mary Catholic Church in Hillsboro by Father Mike Paraniuk and Deacon Paul Leibold. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Calvary Cemetery in Kettering, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Prayer services will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the American Diabetes Foundation.
