Patricia Eakins Obituary


News Death Notice

EAKINS, Patricia A. age 66 of Waynesville passed away Thurs. Aug. 26, 2010 at Quaker Heights Care Community, Waynesville. She graduated from Harveysburg High School, class of '62, and later worked several years at Kings Island Resort. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, watching her granddaughters dance, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother Fred Eakins and her parents Raymond and Sarah Eakins. She is survived by her daughters Robyn Newton and Shelly Dodge; grandchildren Whitnie Newton, Aaron (Allison) Dodge, Maleigha Dodge, Lacey Newton, and Kelsey Newton; two great grandchildren Kayden and Landen; two brothers Cecil (Louise) Eakins and Doug (Carla) Eakins; one sister Debbie (Ed) Petry; several nieces and nephews; and her dog Mea. Funeral services 7 PM Tues. Aug 31 at Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Tues. at the funeral home. If desired, contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.stubbsconner.com.
