Dunn, Frank Richard "Dick"
Canandaigua: July 13, 2008, age 86, after a long battle with Alzheimer's, formerly of Irondequoit. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Kathryn (Ischinger) Dunn, whom he resided with at MM Ewing Continuing Care Center in Canandaigua; son, James Dunn of Canandaigua; daughter, Pamela (Bob) Connolly of Longboat Key, FL; 2 grandchildren, Andrew (Bethany) Dunn of Niagara Falls, NY, Brian (Meaghan) Dunn of Millis, MA; 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Gerald (Nancy) Dunn; sister, Betty (Dave) Perry both of Rochester; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Robert Dunn.
Mr. Dunn was born and raised in Rochester. He was a US Army Veteran of WWII and was awarded the Bronze Star, and served in the South Pacific. Mr. Dunn retired in 1983 after 40 years at Eastman Kodak Co. He was a long-time member of Ridgemont Country Club. He and his wife traveled extensively, and wintered in Florida for many years. He was a wonderful husband and devoted family man, and he will be missed by his family and friends.
Friends may call Saturday, July 19, from 10 AM-12:00 at Johnson-Kennedy Funeral Home, Inc., 47 N. Main St., Canandaigua. Services are private. Inurnment will be White Haven Memorial Park, Perinton. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Assoc., 435 E. Henrietta Rd., Rochester, NY 14620.
