Eleanor Morris Obituary

Morris, Eleanor Eisenhart
Pittsford. July 14, 2008 peacefully at her home. She is predeceased by her husband of 51 years in 1992, William H. Morris, brother, Edward C.Eisenhart. She is survived by son, Thomas (Jane) Morris of Cleveland; daughters, Anne (Sherman) Farnham of Fairport, Betsy (John) Carver of Pittsford; brother, Richard H. (Virginia) Eisenhart; grandchildren, Elisa Morris, Charles Morris (Tia), William Morris (Keira), Jessica Farnham (Michelle), Jamie Farnham (Jean), Shari Belanger (Paul), Valerie Giallella (Mark), Greg Carver (Debby); 6 great grandchildren, Austen and Silas Morris, Emma and Eleanor Farnham, Darren and Caroline Belanger; several nieces and nephews . She was a graduate of the Madeira School, Pine Manor Junior College. A long time member of the Chatterbox Club, Third Presbyterian Church and the Country Club of Rochester. She was also a generous supporter, active volunteer and board member of the Rochester Museum and Science Center, Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra and the Rochester Friendly Home. Eleanor will be remembered as a gracious lady who was devoted to her family and friends.
Friends may call TODAY between 4-6pm at the funeral chapel (2305 Monroe Ave.). A Memorial Service will be held at 3pm Friday, at the Third Presbyterian Church, 4 Meigs St. Contributions may be made to the Rochester Museum and Science Center, 657 East Ave. 14607 in her memory.
