My thoughts and prayers are with Michael and his family. Michael was "Mike" to me. I had the opportunity to know him well, for I, too, worked for him for many years when he first started Lubin Distributors out of his home on Dale Road in Brighton. As a teenager, I first met Mike when I was a newspaper boy for the Democrat & Chronicle. I later started mowing Mike's lawn, and eventually worked in his basement filling candy and peanut machines. Mike taught me how to repair vending machines. Eventually Mike and another employee (John Kivalos) taught me how to service Wegmans vending machine routes. I lost touch with Mike after I moved away from Rochester, but I never forgot about him. He was more than a boss; he was a friend. He was a great man, a patient teacher, and I truly enjoyed working for him. If you can hear me Mike, I owe you a big "thank you" for teaching me many of life's lessons. You will be missed my friend.

To The Family and Friends of Michael,

I want to express my sympathy during this difficult time. Michael was a wonderful man and his wit, charm, and caring ways will be remembered for years to come. I had the opportunity to work for Michael and David at Lubin Dist. during the 1980's. He always made us strive to be better. He always made us challenge ourselves. Many of the things I learned at Lubin's I use in my own business today. I will miss him and hold my memories of him fondly in my heart. May God give you comfort at this time and in the future. My prayers are with all of you.
