Irondequoit: Sunday, July 27, 2008. Predeceased by his brothers, Gaetano, Filippo, Giuseppe and Domenico; sister, Josephine. He is survived by his wife, Mari (Geraci) Sampognaro; sons Philip (Sandra) and Joseph (Laurie) Sampognaro; grandchildren, John, James and Eric; brother, Salvatore (Adele) Sampognaro; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Santina Liberti, Tony (Blanche) Geraci, Agatha Schifino, Santo Geraci, Andrew (Rose) Geraci and Josephine (Carmen) Dioguardi; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
His family will receive friends on TUESDAY, 4-8 PM at the funeral home. On WEDNESDAY, please join his family at St. Cecelia Church (2732 Culver Rd., Irondequoit) for his Funeral Mass at 10:30AM. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
