Dorothy Merola Obituary

Merola, Dorothy L.
Rochester: Age 84, passed away peacefully Saturday, July 26. Born in Rochester, she attended West High School. Dorothy held a variety of jobs over the years, but spent much of her career working at St. Joe Box Company, from which she retired. Dorothy was known for her giving and loving nature. She was particularly fond of animals and maintained a menagerie to the last. She is predeceased by her sisters Margaret Gagnon and Loretta Reid, and survived by her loving sister Marie Glitzer, nieces and nephews, and many grand nieces and grand nephews.
Friends are invited to attend a memorial service for Dorothy on Friday, August 1, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Christ the King Church, 445 Kings Highway South, Rochester New York. Donations in her memory may be made to Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Road, Fairport, NY 14450.

Dear Cousins,
Dorothy was so much fun and so kind to us when we would visit Rochester back in the 50's & 60's. We have a few nice photos of her from your summer picnic a few years ago, which we will cherish.
