How do we go on without my "Aunt Edie"? I loved her so much. When my Mom passed away, Aunt Edit hugged me and told me that from now on she would be my Mother and that she would pray for me everyday, and I knew she meant it. I loved her like she was my Mother, and I will miss her - - especially her prayers on my behalf. For sure, I expect to see her and my Mom and Dad all together waiting to welcome me into heaven when Jesus calls me home. Thanks for sharing your Mom with her multitude of friends who relied on her prayers for them, as well as those who sought spiritual help from her on a regular basis. The world has lost a very powerful beacon, but heaven has added another angel!!! I can't imagine all the crowns she will have to place at Jesus' feet - - and He will say, "Edith, you were always faithful, enter into the joy of your Lord."
Thanks for sharing her, LaVern!! Your sister in Christ, Sharon Szenas

"Aunt Edie" meant everything to me. I loved her with all my heart. When my Mom died, she told me that she would now be my Mother and that she would pray for me every day. I know she kept her word, although I know her "prayer list" was long. When she accepted Christ as her Savior, she never missed a chance to tell everyone she met about Jesus and pray with them and give them one of her little "Bibles.". The world has lost a great treasure, but I know she had a wonderful welcome in Heaven. As for me, I will always cherish her love for me, and I will miss her prayers on my behalf. She was truly "one of a kind."
