I am greatly saddened over the passing of my friend. He treated everyone with dignity and respect and was the classiest of gentlemen. Like all sailors who knew him, I will miss seeing him out on the water on one of his "Umi Taka's." Fair winds Franz!

My deepest condolences to the family. Franz was truly a unique and admirable man. He taught me so much and I am grateful to have known him.

My thoughts and prayers are with all the family of Mr. Schwenk. I had the opportunity to meet him on several occasions and my parents knew him and thought highly of him.
I knew all of the "kids" but Heidi best of all and always thought highly of all of you.
My thoughts and condolences are with each of you.
Sincerely
Brian Frisby
