Watkins, Herbert W.
Rochester: Predeceased by infant son, Gary and brother, Walter, survived by loving wife of 65 years Sylvia, daughters, Bonnie (John) Reitz and Weslie (Carl) McLaughlin; grandchildren, Charlotte (Mark) Landahl, Allen (Jessica) Reitz, Katherine (Fred) Akasha and Christopher McLaughlin; great-grandchildren Casey and Abigail Landahl and Zachary Akasha; niece, Dona (John) Musgrave, nephew, Paul Brown and family friend Susan Flood.
Herb was the retired President and CEO of Career Systems Development Corporation. He served four years in the army during WWII and retired as a captain. Herb taught evening classes at RIT for many years and served on Rochester community boards.
His family will receive friends Saturday, August 9th between 12:30 and 2:00 pm at the United Church of Pittsford, with the service immediately following. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association, 435 E. Henrietta Rd. Rochester, NY 14620 or Lifetime Care Hospice, 3111 Winton Rd. South, Rochester, NY 14620. Arrangements by HEDGES MEMORIAL CHAPEL, INC., Pittsford.

I am sorry to hear of Herb's departing. I know the last few years were rough for him. I only have fond memories of working many long nights with him to prepare proposals second to none.
