Dominic DeFranco Obituary

DeFranco, Dominic R. "Mickey"
Greece: Passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2008, at age 88. He is predeceased by his wife, Genevieve. Mickey is survived by his children, Eugene (Margaret A.), Gerard (Micheline M.), Margaret DeFranco (Theodore Ford), Marian and Cecelia DeFranco; grandchildren, Jason, Jennifer, Jesse, Hayden, Nicolas, Mia and Christian; great-granddaughters, Anna and Phoebe; many nieces and nephews; and special friend, Esther Foss.
Friends and family may call Friday, August 15th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. A brief prayer service will be held at the Funeral Home Saturday at 12:30PM followed by a Funeral Service at the Chapel of the Resurrection Garden Mausoleum, 1:30PM at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, August 25th at 11AM at North Baptist Church, 2052 St. Paul St. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the North Baptist Christian School.

I grew up across the street from Mickey. He was a very good neighbor who looked out for my family. I returned today from an out of town trip. I'm sorry I missed the calling hours. Mickey was a gentleman and a good soul. I will miss him. God Bless.
