Irene Sanger Obituary
Irondequoit: Wednesday, August 13, 2008. Passed away peacefully at the age of 89. Mae was predeceased by her parents and six siblings including Helen Ballou and Grace VanderKamp. She is survived by her nieces, Nancy (Douglas) Anne, Susan Ballou, Joan (Robert) Schlegel, Mary Ann Ballou, Karen Ballou and Barbara Ballou Terhaar; nephews, David (Barbara) Ballou and Thomas (Dina) Ballou, several grandnieces and grandnephews; great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews;special friend, Red; and many friends. Mae was a secretary at Kodak for 43 years. She volunteered at GEVA, RPO, Red Cross and Seneca Park Zoo. Her sweet caring ways will be a fond memory to all who knew her.
Her family will receive friends Friday 4-7 pm at the funeral home. Friends are invited to meet the family Saturday 11:00am at St. Ann's Home Chapel, 1500 Portland Ave. for her funeral mass. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In memory of Mae, memorials may be directed to Cherry Ridge Rainer Grove Memory Garden, 900 Cherry Ridge Blvd., Webster, NY 14580.
