Rowena Hamilton Obituary
Bergen/Hamlin: 1913-2008. Died August 14, 2008. Daughter of Walter and Jessie Wright. Predeceased by parents, husbands, George W. Morey Sr, and Ray E Hamilton; brothers, Walter Wright, Gordon Wright, Foster Wright; sister, Evelyn Unterborn; sister-in-law, Beatrice Hoffman Perkins. She is survived by her children, Marie (George) Follett, George (Linda) Morey Jr, Dianne (Alex) Szczupakowski, Jerold Morey, Douglas (Barbara) Morey; stepson, Gary (Nancy) Hamilton, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchild, step grandchildren and step great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Florence Morey. Member of the Bergen United Methodist Church, Past Noble Grand Rebekah Lodge in Bergen, Order of Eastern Star, GE retiree, avid bowler, square dancer and card player.
Friends may call Monday, August 18 from 3-8 pm at Fowler Funeral Home, Inc., 340 West Ave., Brockport. And on Tuesday, August 19, at 10 am at the Bergen United Methodist Church. Her service will be held at 11 am. Tuesday, August 19 following calling hours. Interment, Lakeside Cemetery, Moscow Road, Hamlin immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to PAWS, Gaines Basin Road, Albion, NY, or the Bergen United Methodist Church, 27 South Lake Street, Bergen, NY 14416.
